Biography
Cristian Xochimitl is a Tax Attorney at Segal, Cohen & Landis who practices in all aspects of IRS and state business and income tax collections, as well as proposed assessments. He holds both a J.D. and a Master of Laws degree in Taxation (LL.M.) from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
Before joining Segal, Cohen & Landis, Cristian worked at a tax consulting company where he resolved and consulted on hundreds of IRS collection matters — giving him a strong foundation in the practical realities of IRS negotiation and collection defense.
Cristian received his Juris Doctor degree from Ohio Northern University School of Law, where he focused on tax controversy and employment law. He is also the sole recipient of the Peggy Browning Fellowship Award for his efforts and contributions to assist disadvantaged families in Chicago, Illinois.
